A Little More About Me…

I didn’t think I was a creative person growing up. It's a little crazy for me to admit seeing that I’m most drawn to creative positions in advertising…but hey, it’s the truth. I thought creativity was limited to being good at art class. And I was not.

It took me 20 years to realize that I was a creative person all along. I always had a huge imagination and spent a lot of time coming up with stories in my head. I excelled in my writing classes and enjoyed writing essays. In group projects, I was always coming up with new and innovative ideas, and of course, I loved designing the presentations.

I still might not be very good at drawing or painting, but I still have a knack for approaching problems through different lenses. That’s one reason I love advertising. It tells a story.

I also have a love for social media management. Creating engaging content for different target audiences is a passion of mine, and I enjoy how it challenges me to “step into someone else’s shoes”. I have some favorite social media accounts from small businesses in my hometown of Duluth, MN. I love how their accounts create different communities and represent their brand authentically.
